When renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli was joined on stage by an unexpected yet familiar duet partner, it created a truly magical moment.

In 2014, Bocelli married Veronica Berti in a dreamlike ceremony set in Tuscany, sealing a relationship rooted in love and partnership.

This connection was beautifully showcased in a special moment captured on Bocelli’s 2016 DVD Cinema. Berti, who is not only an actor and producer but also Bocelli’s manager, joined her husband on stage for a heartfelt duet.

With the accompaniment of a smooth jazz band and pianist, Bocelli began singing the classic Cheek to Cheek in Italian, seated at the piano. Midway through the performance, as he sang the poignant line, “You are the most incredible woman there is,” Berti gracefully appeared on stage, taking her husband’s hand and joining him in song.

The Oscar-nominated song “Cheek to Cheek,” written by Irving Berlin, was created for the 1935 movie musical Top Hat, starring Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. In the film, Astaire serenades Rogers with the song as they gracefully dance together.

During their performance, the couple shares a tender moment, with Veronica turning to her husband and saying, “Sei l’amore più incredibile che c’è” (“You’re the most incredible love there is”). So sweet!

This isn’t the first time Berti has joined her husband for a surprise duet. Back in 2012, the couple performed Qualche Stupido, an Italian version of Robbie Williams’ Something Stupid (watch below).

Berti and Bocelli crossed paths in 2002 at a party where the renowned tenor was in attendance.

Not long after, Berti took on the role of Bocelli’s manager, and the two developed a strong friendship. Over time, their bond deepened, leading to their marriage in 2015 after many joyful years together.

The couple shares an eight-year-old daughter, Virginia, who recently performed a heartwarming duet with her father—a stunning rendition of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.”
