Melania Trump’s former boyfriend has shared intriguing insights into her ambitions before meeting Donald Trump, shedding light on a different side of the former First Lady.

According to Jure Zorc, who dated Melania between 1991 and 1996, her aspirations didn’t initially include an American dream. Instead, the Slovenian model envisioned a glamorous life in Europe’s fashion capitals.

“She dreamed of living in places like Italy and France, fully immersed in the world of fashion. She was incredibly stylish and had a real passion for that lifestyle,” Zorc shared during an interview with ABC News.

Reflecting on their time together, he described a simpler period of her life before her rise to international prominence.

Their first encounter, according to Zorc, was something out of a romantic film. “I was riding my motorbike, and she was walking down the street.

The moment I saw her, I was struck by her beauty. I couldn’t resist turning back to meet her,” he recalled. Zorc admitted he was captivated by her elegance from the very beginning.

“She carried herself with class, dressed impeccably, and had an aura that was unforgettable. She was tall, had long hair that partially covered her face, and an undeniable sense of style.“

Interestingly, Donald Trump’s first impression of Melania mirrored Zorc’s experience. The future couple met in 1998 at a New York nightclub.

At the time, Trump, 52, was separated but not yet divorced, and Melania, 28, was establishing herself as a model in the United States. Trump, who was on a date with someone else, couldn’t take his eyes off Melania.

In a 2005 interview with Larry King, Trump reminisced about that night. “I was supposed to meet someone else—a great supermodel sitting right next to Melania. But when I saw her, I forgot about everyone else. I said, ‘Who’s the one on the left?’ It was Melania.”

Melania also felt the spark immediately. Reflecting on their connection, she revealed, “There was an instant chemistry. The energy was great, and we had a wonderful conversation. From the beginning, there was something special between us.”
