Lawrence Jones has been praised by fans as he started his new job as a co-host on Fox & Friends.
Lawrence Jones has officially been named the fourth permanent co-host of Fox News Channel’s flagship morning show. He will now be joining Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt, and Brian Kilmeade on the weekday program, airing from 6 to 9 a.m.
Following the announcement, Jones took to Instagram to share his excitement about his new role. Expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support, he wrote, “I can’t thank y’all enough for all the love.”
The news was met with an outpouring of encouragement from fans, who flooded the comment section with messages of congratulations for the 30-year-old.
Since 2022, political commentator Lawrence Jones has hosted his own weekend program, Lawrence Jones Cross Country, on Fox News.
However, with his transition to Fox & Friends, his show will be replaced by One Nation with Brian Kilmeade. Despite this shift, Jones will continue his role as the network’s enterprise reporter.
Many fans expressed disappointment over the conclusion of Lawrence Jones Cross Country, with one commenting, “Well deserved, but I sure will miss all the good you did on Cross Country.” Another shared similar sentiments, writing, “One of the best… but I will definitely miss Cross Country!”
John Embracing the new chapter in his life
Jones, however, is embracing the new chapter in his career. In a statement to Variety, he shared his enthusiasm for joining Fox & Friends, saying:
“I am honored to become a part of the cable news legacy Fox News has created with Fox & Friends, the very show where I made my first ever national television appearance. It is truly a privilege to inform our audience every day, and I can’t wait to do so each morning.”
Fox News’ senior vice president of morning programming, Gavin Hadden, also praised Jones’ contributions, stating:
“Lawrence has his finger on the pulse of what matters to communities across America, and his insight has proved invaluable to the Fox & Friends audience.”
Fans React and love Jones
One supporter enthusiastically commented, “You’re the future of Fox News! I hope you have a long, successful career.”
Another fan simply expressed admiration, stating, “Love this guy.”
Although Jones officially stepped into his role as a co-host on Monday, he has been a part of Fox News since 2018, taking on various positions within the network over the years.
