TWO Cobra Kai stars have announced their shock engagement – as the hit Netflix series ends after six seasons.
A continuation of The Karate Kid, the show released its final episodes earlier this week.
Cast members Tanner Buchanan and Mary Mouser stunned fans after unveiling their real-life engagement.
The pair portrayed Robby Keene and Samantha LaRusso throughout the show’s entire run.
Tanner, 26, revealed the pair’s news through a series of loved-up photos posted on Instagram.
While posing for photos at the premiere for Cobra Kai’s last episodes, both held up their hands to reveal matching rings.
Tanner wrote in his caption: “We’re so happy to finally share that we’re engaged.
“This is such a special moment in our lives, the closing of one chapter and celebrating the continuation of another.
“We’re so grateful for the love and support and though we’re partial to having our private moments, we’re excited to share this check-in to our world.”
Naturally, many followers were thrilled by the revelation and shared their congratulations to the couple.
One wrote: “I love you guys together. Definitely, a hot couple.”
Another added: “What a pleasant surprise and I’m here for it. Congrats.”

A third exclaimed: “I DIDN’T EVEN KNOW THEY WERE DATING?!???”
Cobra Kai co-creator Jon Hurwitz penned: “So happy for you both! Love you!”
While actor Joe Seo – who played recurring character Kyler Park – wrote: “Wishing the best!! Congrats guys.”
Many fans also mentioned their characters’ former romance in the show.
On-screen Sam ended up with Miguel Diaz (Xolo Mariduena), while Robby pursued a relationship with Tory Nichols (Peyton List).
The engagement announcement follows years of fan speculation regarding whether they were together.
Both Tanner and Mary, 28, frequently shared posts about the other on social media.
However, the pair had not revealed before now that they were an item.
Speaking to People at Cobra Kai’s final episodes premiere event, Tanner highlighted Mary as a “hundred percent” ride-or-die confidant.
He added: “But to be honest, literally everybody.
“There’s not one person that we don’t hang out with and have fun with, and we truly keep saying that we’re going to be around in each other’s lives forever.
