Ever daydreamed about rocking out on stage with your musical idol? But let’s face it, for most of us, the closest we’ll get to centre stage is belting out our favourite tunes in the shower.

Not for Victoria Anthony though – this kid’s a superstar in the making, and she’s got Pink to thank for it!

When the 12-year-old superfan found out Pink was coming to Vancouver back in 2018, she had an idea on how to get the attention of the ‘Trustfall’ singer.

She launched a full-on Twitter campaign, basically summoning Pink like a musical genie: “Hey @Pink, please let me sing on stage with you in #Vancouver May 12. I’ll be ready! – Victoria (age 12). Share this video and tag #vicandpink to make my dream come true.”

Can you believe that? The girl knew how to hustle at just 12!

The big day came, and Victoria attended the concert, stoked to see Pink in action even if her own stage dreams didn’t pan out. But guess what? Midway through the show, Pink spotted her in the crowd and invited her to take the spotlight.

Victoria belted out Pink’s hit ‘Perfect’ and the crowd went wild. Seriously, her voice is angelic.

Pink was so floored that she even joked about not singing that song herself later in the show.

Imagine your idol being afraid to follow your act!

It seems as though the support of one of her idols paid of, as Victoria is now 17-years-old and has kick started her very own music career.
