KOURTNEY Kardashian swapped her usually glamorous style for a VERY low-key look.

The Kardashians personality appeared at a landfill site in her local hometown of Calabasas.

Kourtney, 45, is known for her glamorous appearances on red carpets alongside her husband Travis Barker, 49.

If she is not appearing at a glitzy event, she is known to appear in full glam on her reality TV shows alongside her sisters and mom.

However, the reality TV personality swapped the makeup and fashion for a more covert appearance.

She was dressed in a baggy V-neck jumper, black trousers and old sneakers as she protested at a landfill site.
Her hair appeared loose in an unstyled fashion and she wore black sunglasses to cover her eyes as she was surrounded by local reporters.

She took to the streets to join like minded residents to protest potential toxic waste being dumped in landfill sites.

The reality star also clasped placards alongside other protestors in support of the environmental cause.

According to the website protectcalabasas.org, the Los Angeles County board of supervisors will order Calabasas Landfill to temporarily accept material from outside of the wasteshed.
This will affect the Sunshine Canyon and Lancaster Landfills sites which will be made to increase tonnage limits.

The act will continue for 120 after activation with the option to extend by the board.

Kourtney has made several changes in her home in order to be more environmentally friendly.

According to her lifestyle website Poosh, she only uses metal straws at her house, she avoids plastic bottles and opts for reusable containers.

For her garbage, she uses biodegradable bags and makes sure to follow proper recycling principals.
She also uses glass storage containers for leftovers as well as tube-free toilet paper.

The media personality also collaborated with Boohoo to promote sustainable practises after speaking out against the environmental impact of fast fashion.
