During Super Bowl LIX at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Taylor Swift was booed by the crowd when shown on the jumbotron.

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley expressed confusion over this reaction during an interview on “The Howard Stern Show.”

He stated, “I don’t get it. I don’t get why she was getting hate there.”

Barkley emphasized that Swift’s presence supports her partner, Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce, and has positively impacted the NFL by expanding its audience. He noted, “We’re trying to expand the game, and her being a part of it’s only helping that.”

Swift, attending the game to support Kelce, appeared surprised by the crowd’s reaction but remained composed. Barkley highlighted that her involvement brings more attention to the sport, aiding its growth and international reach.
