As everyone gatherd in the Oval Office on Tuesday, all eyes were on President Donald Trump and Elon Musk who addressed the public for the first time regarding government cuts. But it was Little X that stole the show

The evening which was expected to be political turned into entertainment. The intense moment took an unexpected turn when Musk’s four-year-old son, “Lil X,” unintentionally stole the spotlight.

Amid the discussion, Trump paused, gesturing toward the child with a grin. “This is X, and he’s a great guy—high IQ,” he remarked, chuckling. The president went on to describe the young boy as a “high-IQ individual,” drawing laughter from those in the room.

Despite the weight of the conversation between Trump and Musk, the presence of the energetic toddler added a lighthearted twist to the high-profile gathering.

As Elon Musk started talking about his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) initiatives, his focus was repeatedly pulled away—not by policy debates, but by his young son, “Lil X.”

At one point, Musk lifted the four-year-old onto his shoulders, only for the child to start playing with his father’s ears.

“Sorry for this,” Musk said with a laugh, momentarily distracted. “Otherwise, I might enjoy this, but as he’s sticking his fingers in my ears…” he trailed off, still smiling.

It’s interesting to note as his mom, Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher, posted on social media saying: “I have made it clear I do not approve of that in every conceivable way I know how.”

Who is Little X, Elon Musk and Grimes’ son

Born in 2020, “Lil X,” as Elon Musk affectionately calls him, is the youngest son of the billionaire entrepreneur and Canadian musician Grimes.

Over the years, he has made occasional public appearances alongside his father, including on election night, where he was featured in a Trump family photo. During that moment, President Donald Trump referred to him as “a gorgeous, perfect boy.”

The White House later released a video capturing Musk, Trump, and “Lil X” in the Oval Office. In the footage, the young boy was seen wearing a brown coat and what his father described as a “cool chain.”

At one point, he leaned against the historic Resolute Desk, evoking memories of the iconic 1962 photograph of a young John F. Kennedy Jr. peering out from underneath the same desk.
