Following the Kansas City Chiefs’ 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, tight end Travis Kelce expressed his disappointment in a post-game interview. He acknowledged that the Eagles outperformed the Chiefs in all aspects of the game, stating, “They got after us. All three phases.” Kelce highlighted the team’s struggles with turnovers, penalties, and dropped passes, noting, “We haven’t played that bad all year.”

Despite the defeat, Kelce commended his teammates for their relentless effort, emphasizing that they fought until the end. He also mentioned that at halftime, he still believed the game was within reach.

This loss ended the Chiefs’ pursuit of a third consecutive championship and brought attention to underlying issues such as an aging roster and a struggling offensive line.
