The couple, who got married in 2015, live together in Essex, and announced in December last year they were expecting a baby together.

Sharing the news in 2024, Keegan posted a snap of herself and her husband, with her baby bump visible as she wrote: “2025 is going to be a special one for us…” along with a baby emoji.

The couple’s fans, former co-stars and friends instantly swooped to the comments section on Wednesday after the new mother shared the news days after her daughter’s birth.

Keegan’s former Coronation Street co-star Alan Halsall penned: “Congratulations. Welcome Palma.”

A message from the soap’s official account read: “Congratulations to you both. Love from everyone here at Corrie x.”

A third added: “So happy for you both. A beautiful baby girl. Congratulations. She will be wrapping all the boys round her little finger. I can’t wait to see her.”

“Huge congratulations to you both. This next adventure as a three will be amazing. So excited for you both,” another posted.

“Wow massive congratulations to you both on the birth of your beautiful daughter. lots of love to all 3 of you,” someone else added.

Another commented: “Huge congratulations to you all. so beautiful. sending you all lots of love xxx.” (sic)

In recent years, the actress opened up on hurtful probes into her plans for motherhood, which came as soon as she tied the knot with Wright.

In a candid 2019 interview, the actress admitted she felt a lot of “frustration” about constantly being asked when she planned to have her first child.

“It’s horrible,” she commented, pointing out: “It’s like, ‘You’re 32. Are you not planning to have a baby yet?’

“People don’t know if we’re trying. They don’t know the background of what’s happening.
